Sunday's Child- Chosen by Grace

The journey to wholeness in Christ continues. In book 2 of the Sunday's Child Series, the reader is invited walk the same path as the main character,  Nobody. And, like Nobody, the Spirit of the true and living God will accompany your every step.

If the author could impart anything to the reader, it would be the understanding that we are never alone in our trials. Through the process of writing her story,  the author  learned this priceless lesson. God promises to never leave us nor forsake us. The hidden aspects of Nobody's life, lived out in an environment of sin and self, are a testament to this everlasting promise.

As the reader learns about the perils of Nobody's life, they will see how the sin of others, opens the door to the enemy of God, allowing him access to any part, not possessed by God's Holy Spirit.

Sin, in any form, is a destroying force. Hasatan, the Destroyer, is the epitome of sin and self. Those who choose him, will follow in his footsteps, becoming the destroyer and, at the fulfillment of time, be themselves, destroyed.

Those who persecute Nobody, have rejected God's love in favor of the destructive influence of sin. She and many others, are a victim of their choice.

But, God so loved the world, and the nobodies of the world, that He allowed His Sinless Son to be destroyed in our place. Our sins, and the worlds alike, were placed upon Him, so that we may stand pure and sinless before a righteous God.

Sunday's Child-Chosen by Grace, is filled with real life examples of Jesus, the Sinless Son of God, placing Himself in the mist of the muck and mire of the worlds sins.

It was through this truth, that the reader learned, God doesn't stand idle, watching a sinful world destroy itself. He, through His Holy Spirit, and those who accept His Son as Lord and Savior, strive with man to bring them the truth that frees.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage (Galatians 5:1 NKJV).

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!

For His mercy endures forever (Ps. 118:1).

The Face of Love

Your word says You were marred

beyond human recognition,

by humans hands,

hands You created

to give and receive Your love.

Your body, torn and battered,

resembling the hearts of

those who pierced You,

hearts You poured Your love into,

hearts that broke Your own.

We are Your people,

made by Your hands,

granted free will,

to reject, or obey Your commands.

It's not You who have failed us,

but we who have turned our backs

on the face of Love.

The face that bled and died,

cried real tears,

whispered Your truth in our ears.

It is Your face of Love that I hold most dear,

the only face that casts out my fear.
