Often during an attack, we feel there is no escape. The faces surrounding us show no compassion or mercy. Many times, those closest to us, are who the enemy uses to hurt us.

We cry out to God, but the heavens do not answer. The only voice we hear is the voice of the enemy telling us God has rejected us.

It has taken many years, but I finally see that God never left me. He may not have rescued me  as I would have wanted, but He was there experiencing every act against me. He felt my shame, He took my pain, on the cross when He died for me and for the ones hurting me.

"Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from the womb; even to your old age, I AM He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry and deliver you."  Isaiah 46:3-4
