Trust is an integral part of any relationship. Is it any wonder that our enemy  uses our innocent trust in another to control us and take us off God's perfect path?

God wants us to trust Him, as He is perfect, has only our good in mind and has no selfish or sinful motives. The enemy wants us to trust in anyone but God. 

​

When we trust in someone or something more than God, it is called idolatry. Idolatry is an egregious sin before our Lord and a way in which our enemy entraps us. 

 

"As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him." II Samuel 22:31
